Catholic Schools Week 2021
The theme of this year’s Catholic Schools Week is ‘Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith and Resilience’. Schools have been under so much pressure over the last twelve months and this shows little sign of letting up anytime soon. Faith and resilience are two key qualities that can help us in difficult times. This week let us pray in a special way for our school communities as they continue to provide quality education in very difficult times.
This short prayer may be a useful one to add to your daily prayers this week:
God of love and mercy,
we know that you are always with us.
May we always carry the light of Christ in our hearts, in our minds and in our actions,
and may our school continue to be a place where we work as a community to help live the Gospel message; to love one another as you have loved us. Amen.
