Ceremonies of the Easter Triduum at Ards Friary 2017

The Friars invite you to join with them in their celebration of the Easter Triduum.

Holy (Maundy) Thursday

9am: Morning Prayer Friar’s Oratory

7:30pm Mass of the Lord’s Supper and procession to the Altar of repose. Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament until 10pm.

Good Friday:

9am: Office of Readings and Morning Prayer Friar’s Oratory.

3pm: Solemn Celebration of the Lord’s Passion, including veneration of the Holy Cross and Holy Communion.

Holy Saturday:

9am: Office of Readings and Morning Prayer Friar’s Oratory.

9pm: Easter Vigil of the Resurrection.

Easter Sunday:

9am: Mass of Easter Morning

5:30pm: Mass.

Confessions at usual times throughout Holy Week except during ceremonies.

Shop open at usual times.

Coffee Dock open over the Easter Holidays except on Good Friday.
