Feast of St Michan of Dublin:
Tuesday, 25 August 2015
Today we keep the feast of one of the old Celtic Saints, St. Michan of Dublin! The parish under his patronage is ministered to by the Capuchin community from the Church St. friary and is the oldest parish in Dublin, traditionally serving the inner city markets community.
Our Parish Priest and Guardian, Fr. Bryan has a wonderful post on his blog on the history and development of the parish from St. Michan onwards you can find it at http://bryanshortall.blogspot.ie/2015/08/feast-of-st-michan-august-25th.html?spref=fb
In the meantime, we of the Capuchin community in Church St wish you a very happy St. Michan’s day!
