As Capuchin Franciscans it is not so much the work we do that is unique but the way in which it is done. From the earliest days of the order St. Francis wanted the brothers to work humbly and simply. He wanted them to work together, as brothers in fraternity. He always encouraged the Friars to be busy while, at the same time, never letting our work extinguish the spirit of prayer and devotion to which all else must be subservient.

He wished the brothers to offer their various gifts to the service of the fraternity, the Church and the whole world; everything we do becoming a way of preaching the good news of Jesus.
